Old Goshenhoppen Ministries
Christian Education Ministry: Coming alongside and working directly with the Pastorate of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, those in Christian Education help facilitate, develop, and plan educational opportunities for youth &/or adults at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church.
Fellowship Ministry: The Fellowship Ministry, seeks to create events and opportunities for greater unity within the church family of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church. Responsibilities could include (but not be limited to) scheduling meals, events, cleanup, sending cards, holding prayer sessions, greeting newcomers and visitations. In addition, the fellowship ministry seeks to incorporate visitors and members into a deeper relationship within the church by building stronger bonds and encouraging individuals throughout the community.
Outreach Ministry: A missional and gospel minded arm of Old Goshenhoppen, Outreach seeks to serve, and in such service share the love of Christ with others. Looking for and organizing opportunities to help the afflicted, ailing, or unreached both within Old Goshenhoppen, and beyond – locally, nationally, and worldwide. In addition, Outreach is empowered to create public events and fundraisers for the benefit of the ministry’s service.
Property Ministry: Tasked with the upkeep of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, the Property ministry seeks to maintain and enhance the physical structures of Old Goshenhoppen and recommend potential improvements and upgrades to the property. Through their labors, this historic property’s preservation continues forward.
Multimedia Technology Ministry: This ministry is tasked with maintaining OGRC.org, the OGRC Facebook page, OGRC Sermon Audio page, graphic design, streaming services, uploads, along with other audio visual and digital endeavors of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church.
Worship & Music Ministry: Coming alongside and working directly with the Pastorate of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, those in this group help assist and coordinate the yearly calendar of worship and music at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church making sure that the sanctuary is prepared for weekly and special services of worship.
Landscape Planning Ministry: This temporary group will endeavor to give the entrance of Old Gosh a much needed “facelift” after the destruction of the tornado of 2019. They will also coordinate some of the planting of trees in the grove and elsewhere on the property.
Gemeinhaus Ministry: This ministry acts as a liaison between Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church and the Friends of the Gemeinhaus 501c3. This ministry helps maintain the Gemeinhaus and grounds, records and finances.
Cemetery Association: This ministry acts as a liaison between Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church and Old Goshenhoppen Cemetery Association. It is led by 3 directors elected from each church. This ministry helps maintain the cemetery grounds, records and finances of all cemetery business.
