“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.  Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus…” Philippians 2:3 – 5 (ESV)

In light of the continually evolving coronavirus outbreak across the country and the globe, we have made the decision, as your pastors, to suspend certain gatherings based on the recommendations of the State and Montgomery county officials.   some of the affected activities are the Wednesday morning Women’s study, the Thursday evening Bible study, adult and children’s Sunday School, and Children’s church.   They will remain on hiatus until further notice.

However while all other events are canceled we will continue to observe regular worship on Sunday morning at 10:00am with extremely limited seating in light of the virus (making sure everyone is at least 10 feet from other groups of visitors, and blocking access once capacity is reached), though we strongly encourage members of the congregation to exercise their own best judgment to protect your health in accordance with your personal physician’s recommendation, CDC guidelines, and the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.

As of this moment, medical professionals in Montgomery County recommend that the following individuals engage in social distancing practices (social distancing includes avoiding large gatherings, confined spaces with multiple individuals present, and limiting outings in public):

  • Persons aged 60 and over.
  • Persons with preexisting conditions such as Heart disease, hypertension, lung disease and diabetes.
  • Persons with compromised immune systems
  • Persons living with an individual who meets the above criteria.

If you need assistance in procuring basic essentials such as food, toiletries and medicine, please reach out to Pastor Kevin and Pastor Bruce.  We continue to be available to help minister to the physical and spiritual needs of our community.

Finally, for those attending services, hand sanitizing products will be available for use prior to worship.  We kindly ask that everyone washes their hands, avoids hand shaking, hugging, and maintains a generous personal distance from others.  For your safety, and the safety of others, please refrain from attending worship if you feel unwell, have a fever, or cough.

We intend to live stream the entire worship service through our Facebook page (you do not need a Facebook account in order to watch videos from our Facebook page).

Please the call the church office with any additional questions or concerns.

     In His Service,

          Pastor Kevin & Pastor Bruce
